Well, I just hit the British Airway button for an October tirp to Botswana. I've been there a few times when I owned the Safari business in Kenya, but my GF has not. It's a 2 week camping safari from Oct 1st thru the 15th. Still time for anyone interested to get onboard.:)

Closest I have been is the Safari ride at Disney Animal Kingdom. And I work for an airline! :(. I have litterally been around the world, and north / south Alaska to Fiji. But never stepped foot in Africa. I need to get out more. :)

What a great trip and what a great way to experience it. Have a wonderful time. It would be very interesting to see where you go and read all the little details about the trip, from car hire to gear packed, places to stay, places to shoot, good eating stopovers, etc ... just save having to plan my own trip

I'll be happy to. For the poster headed to Kenya, check out Roving Rovers. They hire out vintage Land Rovers with gear for the Classic Self drive Safari !!http://www.rovingrovers.com/

Terry,
If only I could get 2 weeks off, I'd be there with you! I'm sure you'll have a great time.
