Yes i know, unfortunately im not rich and cant afford a telephoto lens yet  but i cant blame my tools, so i made do with my trusty 85mm lens!

Images have slight P&P done, cropped to the best I could to retain a little bit of sharpness... i know, my pics arent the best but its my first time :D CC welcome as always

See the bottom of my signature.

You captured exactly what you needed mate. A fun day out.

good work for the kit you have Ed.

400mm will see you right for some head on shots....!

and 300mm for some decent 3/4 jobs

spend money on long stuff if you want good tight cropped shots, not this short fancy prime stuff *pah*

:D hahaha!

i think they're great for first time! looks like you got your shutter speeds just right, the backgrounds pleasing in your panning, as is the motion blur on the wheels:)

Nope as I'm not going. Anyway, 85mm will be fine at Brunters HAHA

Mark Dow won't reply to my emails or phonecalls, apparently no photogs are allowed trackside except someone Brunters have employed.

Keir contacted a bloke who's doing it and he's paid to be a photog for the day, but Dow is putting the stoppers on him going the hot side of the tyres. Bit rubbish that. Oh well.

Nice shots, I like the first shot of Button best, there were a lot of us up there yesterday, my ears are still ringing.

Great shots. You did really well- something tells me there's a part of you beginning to desire a longer lense...
