This is the view from the top of the mountain where you see the next picture. I ran all the way up...it was crazy since it was like...35 degrees out.

The cross with an Edelweiss on it...

Dunno if you guys know this but this flower only grows at the top of the mountains. The ****s used to wear them to symbolize how they were warriors. They would climb up the mountain with absolutely nothing...as a training exercise just to get the flower.

I really like the picture of the cross. Seems very dramatic at that angle. The only thing on it that catches your eye is the bottom left hand corner is lighter because that is were the sun is hitting. I would think if you could darken that area up the eye might not go there first. Just my two sense but I love the pictures. They make me want to go see it someday.

I got some more...including a panoramic shot but I haven't finished putting it together yet.

Im not sure if the 101's TOOK the eagles nest! i have done "some" research "online" about this subject and I have conflicting reports.


band of brothers (movie) says that easy company took the eagles nest during WWII:

BUT and this is a very big BUT!!

The Official websight of 3/7 IN regiment "cottonballers" Andrew jackson's soldiers and also famed by the 3rd IN DIV Road to Bagdad claims THEY took the Eagle:

i really love the extreme angle of the cross.

The pics of the peeps in the room with the sun thru the windows is a great STOCK pic, suitable of magazines.
Me likes....

The 4th pic is great. The rule of thirds. Whether you intended it or not. Very nice. A skylight filter might cut some of that haze. The last pic of the hallway, is nice. Im all about shadows. This pic would also look good in B&W. The dark shadows you contrast really well with the lights.
