Greylag Geese taken at Brandon Marsh NR. The one amongst the grass is sitting on the adjacent golf course.

Both are very nice photos. The colors work very well, the comp is good. The decking/wood in the background is a little distracting, the 2nd looks very nice. I like the OOF grass up front (if cropped too tight, it will make the ducks neck disappear into the buttom of the frame with the body floating unattached in the bacground.....it creates a nice mood and in puts the duck in a better position. Nice post!

Nicely exposed and great color. The first would have been nice with just the solid green BG but it works nicely anyway. The OOF grass in the front of the second shot does nothing for me and if it were mine I would be tempted to crop the shot to remove the foreground grass and then leave the framing semi-panoramic

The first one gets my vote. Very sharp with good details. Like the composition. Well done.
