They are the best I have mangaed so far . I have gotten the birds to accept my hide and are coming and perching about 6' away so the pics are almost full frame.They still are molting there winter feathers so future pics should have better coloring. Thanks for looking.

VERY nice, Chris. I was trying to get some in the Redbud today against the purple flowers, but the redwings kept scaring them away!

These are gret Chris! Very pretty birds, nice comp and the background makes these guys shine!

Very nice shots, Chris. Now I can trash my Goldfinch shots...
Both shots are great. Very sharp and well exposed. The male image is a classic.

Both are very nice. I especially like the bokeh of the first shot. What did you take it with and any chance of you posting a picture of your blind?

Thank you all for looking and your compliments. I took the shots with 20d,100-400 . I already posted a pic of my setup in another thread . I cant post it again now I am at work, but i will when I get home.

Very nice. I particularly like the second one because there is no dark shadow. A hide is the way to go for shots like these.
