I have been experimenting with the wind effect in a models hair (using a fan). What do you think of the results?

In honesty, it looks to me like she is just having a bad hair day! Maybe some clothing which also shows movement would help the effect? Just my amateur opinion...

I sort of like the effect. Still, I don't find the hair the most eye-catching part of the photo though.

I agree with the other comments - its a nice pic and the wind effect is OK, but it could be used to better advantage.
Maybe if the model was more sideways on and her hair more obviously blowing out behind her?

Thjis is tough. I am not sure because I have to think about it, and that is not a natural thing. It might have been a better experiment to ask us to choose from 2 photos.
Anyway, my sense is (and I saw the other model with wind-blown hair on your website (what does the name mean anyway ? Some location in Australia ?) that there is too much to look at here. So on final analysis it depends on what you are trying to push:
-- The Hair -- because it has just been washed in Product X
-- The Cleavage -- because the Service/Product connnects in some way
-- The Face or teeth -- because Product Y is at work here
-- or, just the lady -- because she is so beautiful.
If it is the latter, I think that you earlier photo did the job, and that there is no need for wind blown hair in the darkroom.

Thanks for your comments guys. Yes Howie it was the later, just the beautiful girl. She was a ring girl at Sweenies (Fight club near Sydney) and she really was a huge success. Check my site later for an update. The crowd loved her.
Cheers
