Battery Question

What type of batteries do you guys use in your flash? I have a 430EX and today bought some rechargable batteries for it.


I bought the Energizer 2500mAh batteries. Do these batteries last nearly as long as the alkaline ones?

Sanyo 2500 mAh NiMh from Costco. And I find them to work much better than alkalines.

So you think the rechargables work better than the alkalines then? Is there a faster recharge time on the flash with rechargables?

alkalines are great in a pinch, but any of the popular brand 2500 mAh rechargables are going to be better in both ready time and number of shots.

I use the exacy batteries you do. I think they're okay...as much as I expect batteries to perform.

The Quantum turbo is the way to go though...and what I'm saving up for. It costs a little more than a 580ex...so it will be awhile.

I have the Engergizer 2500 and the 15 mins charger, I shot over 5K flash shots with 3 sets of battery. Very happy with the performance.
