Folders and 10D...

Hi,
is there a logic due to which the 10D creates its folders (date or time based, concerning powering up or shutting down the camera, etc...)?
It's just annoying to have all those folders of a single photo shoot... I know there are programs that create any folder you want after downloading (e.g. Downloader Pro by Breeze Studios) but, it would be nice just to know...

Hi,

As far as I understood from the manual the folders are created from shot1-100 and than a new folder is created.
