First shot I like the rider position, but get that cone out of the background, my eye goes right to it.

Second one, not real fond of the composition, prefer to see more rider or more directly from the side.

Also both look a hair yellow to me, WB adjustmente maybe?

Both are sharp and captured well though.

Very nice image's Mike. :D A good point brought up by VW Pilot too (about the cone.). Still, an EXCELLENT image.

At this racetrack there is not much you can do about cone placement it is a fact of life at a few racetracks that we visit.Several photographers including myself have sent emails to Adobe a bout a cone removal tool in the next edition of photoshop.Thank you for the critique and just to give you an idea what the light is like there is'nt any meanting there is no sunshine today.

Nice images Mike. You're right about Fontana, what you see id what you get. It is just about the ugliest track on the circuit. :-(

Images look good to me. I like both shots. Excellent results for the overcast conditions. Mike you might need to scrub that sensor a bit... second image lower right... unless that is some out of focus debris?

Fontana is one haneous background after another!

Hey Mike, nice shots. I like the of Bostrom even with the cone. I guess I'm just so used to this track that I don't pay attention to them anymore.:lol:

BTW, at what turn did you snap that photo of Yates?
