This is far out of my native environment. My wife and I are teaching at a University in China. When we attend one of their events, we are given great deference by the event organizers. Thus I had roving access to the stage, with about 2000 students enthusiastically urging the performers on to louder things. I was a bit surprised to find myself captivated by the energy of the thing.
These were all shot with a 28-135 IS, which had just arrived from the States earlier in the day. ISO 1600, P setting on the dial.
Suggestions warmly welcomed.
Enjoy!

It is generally helpful to have several images, preferably some wide angle to see the venue, and others from various places. This looks interesting but it looks almost as if you added the bubbles as they all seem the same amount out of focus. What was the event, where was the event and are going to post more or shot more events?

Dwight,
Thanks for the input. I have about 200 images. The concert was at the Xi'an International Studies University new campus. All of the participants were students, who had planned the event for eight months. The lighting, staging and sound were first cabin. I am leaving in about ten minutes for a trip to the Three Gorges Dam but will post more images when we return. The bubbles are original the image I posted was as shot.
Enjoy!
