Hi Everyone,

I just joined this message board.

I have a few galleries online right now, and want to show them to you.

First, the People galleries are at http://www.photokyo.com/peopleindex.asp

Second, the regular Japan galleries are at http://www.photokyo.com/gallery.asp

They are all shot with a Powershot A50. I purchased a G2, but unfortunately realized I cant afford the thing and have to sell it... (refer to my post in the G2 forum).

If you have time, take a peek and let me know what you think. Thanks!

Hey everyone.

Ive gone with a new camera... unfortunately not Canon, but I got the Sony F707. So if you take a look at the gallery page on my site...

http://www.photokyo.com/gallery.asp

...up to and including the Celebrating Japan's Victory in Shibuya, June 14, 2002 gallery was with my Canon Powershot A50 (yes, it was old but it worked well).

From that point on the pics are taken with the F707. Notice a difference at all?

Had a look. You've definately got an eye for shooting people. Some very nice photo's. Also some weird **** happening too but whatever makes a picture.

Thanks! Yeah, I really love taking people shots. I just find that scenery and things arent really my kinda thing. Like its nice sometimes, but people in Tokyo are so cool/strange/wild/plain all at the same time, that its just so fun to shoot them.

Do you have any ideas as to what you would like to see on the site?

I was just out yesterday for the Asakusa Samba Carnival, and got some decent shots of people all dressed up in the Samba gear. Have a look and let me know what you think :)

Great color .. great reportage .. great variety .. great fun.. great happiness ... great the way your thumbnails explode into full view shots

Now... if I only had had some of that "gold dust" and a couple of fake "rubies" when I was 20. What fun!

The photo "One of the few Brazillian girls" is a great shot. Too bad it is a little out of focus.
Great colours as Howie said.

Thanks again for the photo comments. The weather was beautiful, and the colors really came through... though, I sat there baking in the heat and had wine dumped all over my pants by some girl behind me.

And yeah, the brazilian girl is definately a nice shot... she was moving just WAY too fast to get her properly in focus... though, I think I didnt do too bad :)
