London - Sunday 30th April - Gumball Rally

For any London POTNers out there Sunday 30th April (today) will see the launch of the Gumball3000 Race from London.

Its quite a popular event with over 100 supercars (Ferraris, Lambos, Porsche.. etc) and usually some celebraties as well to kick things off.

Location is Pall Mall, near to Trafalgar Square. Drive off is around 3pm, and if its anything like last year the several thousand spectators will line the streets.

Its a great opportunity to get up close and personal to some beautiful cars, if thats your thing.

I'll be there sporting my POTN camera strap.

If you can't make it to London, they race to Dover before heading into Europe.

Sadly that wasn't the case this year. Found the start in London a bit dissapointing, but worth it all the same. Found myself taking snaps, and catching moments rather than beautifully composed shots of the cars. You just couldn't get to where you needed to be.
The M20 was fun too.
