Golden Fly

Does anyone know what this is? Looks like some sort of dragon fly but I'm not sure...Another of my first macro shots. Comments/advise appreciated...Thanks.

Yes, it is definitely a dragonfly.
I have several shots of a very similar dragonfly (probably the same species) and tried to find out what type it was. I think it is an Amberwing dragonfly.

Cool. Thanks Jim. I thought it looked a lot like a dragon fly but I wasn't sure. He is much smaller than the dragon flies we have around here.
