Hi all,

I'm new here and to street photography in particular. (2 months or so) I used to shoot landscape on film but am now more interested in people and am also a digital convert. Let me know what you think to my first efforts posted here:

Thanks!

P.S the first shot of the guy with his tongue out I didn't even see through the view finder. Believe it or not he posed and I clicked without looking! I was staggered by what I got back!

Nice urban shots, some have a really good "people" feel to them... What do you shoot with and do you get noticed often?

Jim, these were all shot with a Rebel XT because it's the smallest, lightest fully functional digital SLR I could find! I use a fast, light Canon 50mm mostly which seems pretty long to me with the image sensor size. It's a great low light lens (f1.4) Some of the pictures were taken with the Canon 17-40mm L and the distance shots at the game were taken with a 70-200mm zoom. So, a bit of a mix.

For the most part people didn't notice me or at least I didn't notice them noticing me! There are obvious exceptions to this though I like it when you catch their eyes as you click.
