From my walk out South Boulder Creek trail today (Apr. 30, 06). The teasel heads stand tall against the backdrop of the local hills, and Arapahoe Peak with its snow cover.

Interesting composition, but do you think that the left teasel-free zone should be cropped a little?

Thanks, Fee and John. I followed your suggestion, John, and cropped a bit from the left side. I also cloned out some light poles, and a green highway sign, from the hidden turnpike on the left side of the image.

That really works Harold, and is a much stronger composition. :)

Thanks again, John. Thanks, Dimitri. After looking at your version compared with mine, I think I prefer having more foreground - to me, it seems to make the teasel taller and closer to the camera.

Dimitri's crop makes it look like you were closer to the ground. Both work for me.
