First Picture w/ new Canon 2S-IS

well guys, im new. I just bought a Canon 2s on Friday and this weekend I took the family out to the local Botanical Gardens. Althought it might be a bit early for all the flowers, I was anxious to take some pictures.

Im no photographer by any means, in fact I dont know the first thing about taking pictures. I dont really know how to get good "composition" i think its called... when/where to take pictures...

anyway, i got a bunch of great family shots of the wife and kids... but here were a few that stood out to me... i love this camera!!! i have shrunk the pics down so I can upload here...

Congrats on your new S2 and welcome to POTN forums. My first camera was the S1, and I have recently stepped into the world of DSLR photography.


Your going to enjoy it here, as you will find that everyone here is so helpful. I myself am new here as well and finding that I have a lot to learn.
