Anybody run into this before? I have a canon 24-70 2.8 lens.The ring that the hood fastens to has become loose and is freely sliding back and forth on the barrel of the lens. there are 3 pins that appear to hold this ring in place that have managed to sink into the slots they are set into allowing the ring to slide. It's a real pain! So does anyone have any experience with this? It seems like a petty thing to sent it back to canon for (The lens is only about 6months old) "L" quality????. I'm going to call B&H tomorrow and see what they say, and will probably have to mail it out to canon on mon.
