This is a smashing image. I like it alot. The colour is fantastic along with the composition.

If I had to criticize anything, it would be that the person looks headless. I might try to tilt his head up just a touch to avoid that if I could re-do.

Very appealing shot. Thanks for sharing.

An excellent image, I like the surreal nature of it.......the headlessness of the guy contributes rather than takes away and goes with the title. Great colours and composition, nice work.

Perfect exposure and composition in my mind.
I like the colour version, but would also like to see a good b/w conversion.
I am always looking for similar locations to shoot, this shot is motivates me to look further afield.

Thanks, Actually I thought by tilting his head down will make him justified to the title :-)

Thanks, you got it and explained the idea of head-less or head tilted down very well.

Thanks, i try to stay away from b/w's, not totally againt b/w but aviod them as much as i can, because i think today, b/w is a defensive way of photography because its easier to survive in b/w's.

Only way of doing b/w is when its must required like a shot of an old mariner captured in modern era, and its necessaryto creat old feeling in it.

But free to make this shot b/w if you want and see it and also post here and let me see how it looks :-)

i dont get this series, you're always in them, and i think they would be better without you in it :p nothing against you i just dont get why the main focus is your back...

You said critique is OK so I thought I would comment on the one thing that hit me out of the gate, and prevents me from really liking it.

The sky is the wrong color.

Seriously, go back and take a look. Doesn't the sky look too blue and cool to fit with the rest of the shot which has a definite warm palate. If we are to believe that the shot was captured with one click of the shutter, the entire shot needs to be from the same palate. Even on a fantasy shot that is known to have been composited, you still want to present a cohesive and integrated whole.

So fix the color of the sky, and it will be just about as good as it gets.

Thanks for critiques,
No the sky is not cool blue, I tried several tones for sky but this one seemed fit for the contrasty foreground. I know your point that on such kind of composition people use dark or fully overcasted sky. but i wanted something diffrent here to make something new but may be this didnot work for you :)

Lol! I was behind the camera so its not me :p
And I'm not always into this type of work. Personally i like urban, corporate style, its just 3rd shot form WRECKAGE series. I had to do this kind of work because this type (textures from rustic, destructed places) was missing from my portfolio, so i thought i have to do few shots to fill the gap :-)

I tried to give some wrecked mood in the shot through this guy with head down.

But i'll concider your suggestion next time and try to get rid of this guy :-)

A very surreal image Farrukh. The sky is a strange color, but adds to the surrealism for me. I've seen all 3 shots of this series, they all feature the same guy (who I thought was you!), and I'm assuming alot of the effects are brought out in your post processing? Either way, I've enjoyed this series and I think it could stand on it's own with or without the dude.

Thanks,
This dude is my brother, already criticized by some other people aswell  So I've decided to give him rest, so You will not see this guy in this series from now on :-)
