Would like your opinion on this photo

I'm not sure why, but I like this photograph and just wanted to get some of your opinions. They don't have to be professional opinions, just an opinion. Do you like it and what could I have done differently...What I like about this pic is the colors. or lack of colors and the lone palm tree in the center of the picture that seems out of place in this particular field surrounded by woods.

It doens't do a lot for me. My first attention is drawn to the brown frame, followed by the black (dark blue) clouds, which look too artificial. I suggest you play a little with coloring one of the trees to brightne things up.

This would be a beautiful B&W or sepia pic, if done correctly. As for color, it appears slightly washed out to my eye, but I'm really intriegued by it. The tree on the upper right corner is bothering me, but aside from that and the "flat" look, I really like it. And I LOVE the sky. It appears that the tree almost has an aura.

This is a nice photo, but I think that the composition would be better without the tree on right (There's no opposing tree on the left to balance the framing.)

As for the rest, it's great.

Thanks for the comments...I also think the trees on the right are disturbing but if I crp them out the palm tree would no longer be centered in the picture...Wouldn't that create an unbalanced picture? I'll just have to re-shoot it when I get ovr there again.
