I've been commissioned to shoot some lacrosse and my longest reach is 200 - will this be too short? (f/2.8 constant)
Also, I'll have two games to work on technique but are there any tips or things that I should know going into the game?
Thanks...

I put a couple of responses to this on another thread. Now I'm not sure which is the legitimate thread.

assuming this is the legit thread.
i shot a bit at my college lacrosse games. division 3 so it was out on the playfield not in a stadium. but lacrosse is a long game and so you'll have to move around with the 200. i shot with my 70-200 and never was able to get close enough for good action shots. only reaction shots on the sideline and players sub-ing out wwere really any good. in my opinion 200 on a 20d was not far enough
