I currently have an AB800 and 48" brolly and stand and large 5-1 reflector which works decent right now. But, I would like to add another light for back light, and I would REALLY like to use my 430EX flash for this to keep things a little more portable, and inexpensive.

I bought an optical trigger, only to find that the Canon flashes dont work with these (they only trigger once, then fail to reset).

I have now found a flash mount/umbrella holder and a flash hotshoe with pc terminal connector to fire the flash. The only problem is that i need to fire the flash with with a cable connected to my 20D. This is less than ideal for a backlight, especially for full body shots.
Is there something that can be attached to the hotshoe terminal to get it to fire the flash remotely? Something fairly affordable.

Will this hotshoe adapter (http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7607175314&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1) work with this radio slave (http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7614567895) to fire the 430EX?
