looks good but i fear that you didnt leave yourself much room to expand and add new folders of photos withought having to change your homepage every time

Good point - I guess I'll either have to almagate one or two of the existing ones - e.g. macro and other animals - which are pretty similar.. or else split the centre column into two...

Just to show that taking the time to pass comment is worthwhile...:) I have now updated the site - and rearranged the galleries - allowing more space for future expansion!

It may be just me and while it's nice to have hover overs, but it's kinda pointless if you can't see what to go for. I would recommend making the links on the first page more visable.

Sorry I have to agree. When coming to the page You have to guess that You can click further. The first few seconds when a new person comes to the site is extremely important. There is no indication whatsoever that this page is more than a "work in progress temporary front page". Sorry.
