I've had my G2 for a few weeks and am new to digital photography. I went on a vacation and used Large resolution, Fine compression which seemed to work great. But I tried a few shots on superfine compression, and when I viewed them in Zoom browser, I was unconvinced that they blew up any better than fine compression at the same resolution. Shouldn't they be able to be blown up with less distortion when compressed less? They were certainly much larger files. thanks.
