I recently purchased a Domke F-1X and think it's fantastic. Extremely well made bag. I am baffled by one thing though ...... does anyone know the concept behind the 4 point suspension carrying handle? I kinda don't get the fact that when you hold it the whole bag is on an angle. I'm sure there's a good reason, I just don't know what it is.
Thanks.

The two front attachment points are aligned with the snap clips so the load's transferred to the base of the bag. But as for its hanging at an angle, my F2 does too, and it's only got the attachment points at the base of the shoulder strap, so a 2-point attachment. I think it's because stuff in the front pockets pulls it off that way. In any case, it doesn't affect the gear or the bag that I've noticed, so why worry? I just wish I could get the 4-point handle by itsself - I have an F7 that needs one.

Thank you for responding Jon. I wasn't really worried about it, just curious. :D
