Some more dewdrop shots. Some are focus stacked and still experimenting with some natural light shots (F8,1/125, ISO800)

I really like the natural light dewdrop #2. My preference for the natural light drops is the lack of a flash reflection in them. The bonus of the starburst is lovely too!
Tell me - in the first photo, is that white ghost somehow a flash reflection? Or is your garden haunted? ;)

Thanks Melvyn and Athena :)
Athena- don't think it's haunted :)- just a flash reflection off a smeared dew drop.

They are all beautiful!! Wow!
What are you using to get that close with these? (what's your set-up for this shot).

Thanks Ambrosia.
All shots are at 1.5:1- my 105mm EX lens with 33mm of ext tubes.
First 3 are flash shots ISO200 F11-13 1/200th ETTL flash camera in manual. #2 and 3 are focus stacked to get both all the drops and the refracted images in focus. Last 2 shots are manual F8 1/125th ISO800 with the sun shining directly on the dew drops and me shooting into the sun. You have to get up early to catch these-1 to 2 hrs after sunrise.

Thanks for the comments all.
The natural light shots seem to grow on you but they are cerainly not as beautiful as the view you get in the viewfinder- must be the ground glass screen that does it. Still trying to get a decent bug shot in the refracted image :)
One thing is that you'd be amazed how many small bugs are in the grass when you get down there poking around.

Very good example of macro shooting. I didn't realize dewdrops can look so good. The reflection in the dewdrop on the last image is wonderful!
