I've been noticing purple fringing in a lot of my photo's, especially with nature shots, the problem seems to show up between tree tops and the sky or on bright areas, you can see a noticible purple halo. The issue seems to be more predominate if it is sunny versus cloudy and I have seen this issue also with people, where they have a strange purple halo around them. Has anyone else experienced this issue, is this simply an issue of photo technique or is my camera messed up? Please help.
One more question, I'd like to edit some of my photo's in photshop and send them back to the CF card for processing at a lab, is there a way I can get my pictures back to the CF card using the camera or I'm I forced to use and of course buy a CF card reader.
Thank you to all

You may have a problem - I can't really answer your question without seeing the shots. All small camera's suffer from some purple fringing. I've never found it a problem except in macro shots of small white flowers and the like. Over exposure or too much contrast make it worse. It's caused by something called chromatic abberation.
The only way to get pictures (or anything) back on the CF card from a PC is to use a card reader. IMHO they are essential. With a USB 2 card reader on a USB 2 PC you will more than *10 your copy speed and you can use your card for more than pictures. They are also cheap - under 20 quid or 30 dollars (US). So don't be mean - buy one!

The problem of putting pics back into the CF card is one that i dealt with sometime ago until it came to me that although not every photography shop prints photos from CF cards, almost everyone prints them from CD.
So, i usualy copy the photos i want to a CD and take it to the shop.
