Photographer of the Year

Good evening to one and all,

I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and I buy a copy of Practical Photography at my local newsstand every month.

This excellent magazine, which is published in the United Kingdom, has a contest for their Photographer of the Year that has one subject every month through the year.

I am interested in entering the competition this year, but due to the distances involved I am one month behind the readers in the UK. For example, I just purchased the Christmas issue of Practical Photography yesterday, but the January issue (which has the details of this year's contest) hit the newsstands in Britain today.

I was hoping that someone across the pond who subscribes to this magazine would be so kind as to post a list of the subjects and closing dates for each month of the contest.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the list:

January 2002 - Water - Closing 4 February

February 2002 - Weather - Close 4 March

March - Industry - 2 April

April - Urban Landscape - 29 April

May - People - 27 May

June - Patterns & Textures - 24 June

July - Nature - 22 July

August - Rural Landscape - 19 August

That is all they have - the entry form is in the latest issue for WATER and an overseas 'blank' form is also included in the magazine for people like yourself.
