This familiar wild flower, is often called the Meadow Violet, is found in moist woods and meadows. It is a stemless species,with triangular or heart-shaped leaves which usually overtop the long-stalked flowers. Found in the eastern states and the Atlantic provinces. Canon G3 and post processing in PS Elements 3.

Lovely soft to vibrant colours Reigh and the blured bg works well in emphasising the flower.

cool shot, very sharp and detailed. I wish it were a little bit further away from the edge of the frame though.

Very nice Reigh....there is something about wildflowers. I think maybe its the surroundings we find them in. Beautiful image here.
