During a recent weekend away, I started noticing a red streak running across the image from top to bottom.
This streak was noticable when reviewing the taken snap and also when veiwing the LCD screen prior to taking a shot.
I was hoping this blemish was just on the LCD, but now, having downloaded my images, the streak is there.
It is in exactly the same place throughout and is mostly prominent in night time shots.
Does anybody have any ideas what the problem is, or am I about to fall victim to some "Omen" style disaster!
The camera is an S45, still in warranty, although it has already been returned to Canon once for some major surgery.
I look forward to any advice.
