These have been reduced in quality for loading purposes. They look pretty decent to me in raw format. I notice a definite improvement from some of my last pics.

I bought a battery grip and that has helped hold the camera still a lot better. (better weight distribution) And I switched the focus to the * button. That way I can have manual focus and AF at the same time and shoot the shutter instantly.

I would crop a specific ant and see if you like that. That way you can show us a closer look.

The large ones are actually cropped and resized down to 70% of the original. So the large ones aren't that much bigger at 100%. Just slightly clearer.
