getting-started

This was taken at my martial arts studio last week. There was a devastating fire, and I was asked to come in to take some pictures. I was able to borrow a Rebel XT from a friend (which was sooo exciting compared to m A400) and took a bunch of shots.
It's hard for me to point out a picture from this series, and say 'that's a great picture', because they all make me so sad.
I found a poem on the internet last night, and tried to incorporate it into this picture. I’m not really sure if it works…
That’s my little rant. If, by chance you’re curious to see some more pictures, I’ll resize a couple and post them sometime.
It says in the picture ‘author unknown’. I don’t know if this is right, cause I took the poem and changed it…
