I am in the process of redeveloping my site and was wondering what you guys consider to be great photography sites?
Who is the best of the best?
No point aiming for anything but, seeing as I'm going to do it.

But really, there are so many! David Oliver is one of the top dogs, he's an Aussie photog...I've been to his site, but it's been awhile. I'm sure it's awesome.

Of course, there's the obvious www.yervant.com
Then this is a guy that lives not too far from me- I've shot with him before, and although he's a N**** user, he's ok. :-) www.cheslerphoto.com

Simple is good.
My current site is very simple, I want to maintain that feel.
Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone!

Yes, I second that simple is good.
I am also a computer programmer, and have done a lot of web work too. I graduated from university with a degree in computer science with a specialty in human/computer interface design.
Something you want to do for a photo site is build the site so the user does NOT HAVE TO SCROLL AT ALL to see pictures. If you can build it so there is no scrolling anywhere then that is better. And build it to fit inside an IE window on an 800x600 screen resolution. If I recall correctly, that is about 480 pixels tall and 750 pixels wide.
A study of web surfers has found that most users don't care for neat, animated flash sites. They don't like animated actions if you click this or that, or neato intro screen that force you to wait 30 seconds or click another link to 'skip this intro'. People want the goods, and they want it FAST. It is known that a .25 is not perceived as a delay, 2 seconds annoy a user, and 10 seconds will often cause the user to just leave the site or go do something else. So skip the flash garbage if you were considering. A two second neato page flipping animation between images just pisses visitors off.
If your site is simple and easy to navigate, then you already have half the magic formula. If your site is also informative (but not wordy), AND aesthetically pleasing, then you have the whole formula.

davidjay.com is one of my favorites. He photographed my roomates wedding and does a remarkeable job, though you are definetly paying for it

www.kimanne.com is my favorite site, I love her work too. I dream of being Kim Anne...well the male version of her that is.

I really enjoyed that Murray site - good coloring, very crisp and classic.
The intro page could use some work, but this is my favorite site so far - mainly because it tells the B&G's story along with the photos and music. http://www.visiophotography.com
