Excellent shots Al,
How big is the fly- looks like a fairly small one?

Thanks guys. I have a feeling Leo and Omri need to look at monitor calibration. As an unscientific test, go to the 30d review on dpreview:
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos30d/
and in the section "about this review" on the first page there's a bar showing shades of grey. I have a feeling most folks are blown out on A, B and C or see no difference between X, Y and Z. On my monitor, I can see all the shades.
