In exchange for building my site I agreed to do a shoot of a friends children, we were about 4 miles north of the Red River just in Oklahoma. The friends Aunt and Uncle had this beautiful farm on a pond.
Here are a few of the pics, if they seem soft it is either the filter or the resizing.
I'd love some feedback as these are only a few, and not all my favorites but I'm short on time today.
Some of these will be printed pretty large so feel free to let me know your thoughts!

My only suggestion is to increase the contrast a bit in #2. Children often make taking wonderful pictures very easy and it looks like these two are no exception. Nice work, Chris.

Great work.
Number two seems a little bleached out, try to add a bit contrast, not much.
Number 4 I would not use a softening filter.. for boys it just looks better without the softness, other than the filter I LOVE that pic.
First one is beautiful and works probably best in a large printsize.

I much prefer this version. The original was too red IMO, and hazy?
They're all very nice shots, and i can't decide if i prefer this version of #2, or #5!?!

Photo #5 is awesome. The innocence of youth is illustrated so well in this photo.
The dress, the hat and the bare feet are so perfect. Thanks for sharing.

I like the first one too but I think the green border takes away from your shot.

I love these! Excellent job. The collage is a lot of fun and I really dig #4 & 5. Love #2 also, but prfer the untouched version. I am sure the mom will love these too.

Thanks for all the kind words, #5 does it for me as well. I liked the PP version above as well.
I'll post a couple more Sunday, there is one that I'm sure they have picked out to be a "canvass" print...and it is not #5.
Again, thanks for all the good words!

Very nice shots of some beautiful children. Nice work. Color and light is great. I like the increased saturation even more.

I like it much more than with pp, though I would crop it a bit. Just a thought.
I also agree with song4themoon:

Thanks Dwight, I guess I'll just let MPIX make the suggestions. I would guess if I do large prints of a few of these for portraits you would not want to use a "gloss" finish?
