I can't offer too much pro advice here, but he looks a bit off balance to me.

Maybe....but he's actually leaning his elbow on his left knee.

Crop much tighter

For a senior portrait, I like the crop. It shows he's relaxed. Any tighter and it would be just a head/shoulder shot. With that said, the lean looks a little akward. Have him lean to the left instead, away from the camera.

I like it. A bit tighter crop (up from the bottom) would make it a classic portrait IMO. Nice work.

Subject is skewed too much to right of frame. 1st let the left shoulder to be elevated a little more, then turn the torso 45 degree to plane of camera, and have him look into the camera by turning head only. I think you can have a better pose. Then light seems to be in need of a little change. A back light that can separate subject’s hair and upper body from background would be nice or may be a different BG that can let head to stand out. Forehead is mildly over exposed when left side of face is a tad darker than what it should be (A reflector could be of help). Soft light is nice and catch light on eyes very good. Cheers.
