Well my camera arrived about 13 hours ago and I am in love already. I was wondering if anyone has used a Canon TS-E 24L lens with their D30. I am looking into buying one and was hoping to have someone's opinion before spending $1200.
Thank You

Yes, it's a nice lens, but you have to disable all of the AF and AE features of the camera, and shoot in manual to get it to work.
As you tilt and shift the lens the exposure varies widely (The D30 is already overly sensitive!), and the AF has no chance what so ever!!
You'll also be using your tripod, as you really need both hands and a fixed camera to opperate this lens effectively.
Don't think it's a point and shoot lens, you'd be sadly dissapointed.
My only other issue is that it's not wide enough, with the D30 1.6x factor. Canon need to produce a 14mm TSE to get back to what the 24mm TSE could do on 35mm.

I bought a Russian 35mm shift lens in Nikon mount and used an adapter to mount it to the D30. It works fine and there is little lost vs the T-SE. This is a sharp lens and I paid around $200 for it.
