Hi krista , im new here and no proffesional by any means, but you might try making two exposures of the same pic if you shoot in raw.Expose one normal and the other under expose it so the highlights arent so blown out ,drag the regular exposed one onto the underexposed one and history brush the blown out corner to your liking ,experiment with opacity and brush flow , use your eye for the right balance. hope that helps.

Nice work Krista...did a good job making me regret my earlier comments! These are very nice.
The bride looking out the window are gorgeous shots!
I've had good luck cloning brick....it's kind of a nasty job, but since it's so repetitive, you can do it fairly easy and get good results. I had a very similar situation (well...actually an ugly window in a brick wall) that I had to clone out for a small group shot. It looked fine on an 8x10. I would clone in some brick from the immediate left and then vignette the snot out of it!

Nice shots, but the black is not black ... you need to add a curves layer to add contrast.

Nice... but 4-6 need some photoshop work to make them look their best. Curves, levels, or contrast should do it.

Nice job JD very creative
Good strategy for no info in a small blow out like that one, little more time put in and noone would notice imo. Could even make it like two windows instead of one long one.

great shots. #1 is my favorite, also like the posing in #4.

JT - I just looked through my photos and forgot I had taken a photo of the same courtyard at the rehearsal - and it doesn't have the sun across it! I can use your trick - thank you for mentioning it. I'll post it once I photo shop it! Yeah! Although JD's trick worked well also - and if it only takes a couple minutes... sweet!
