Underwater shots with IXUS400/S400

Would like to share some thoughts:

Bought a waterproof case to my IXUS400 last weekend. Since Im doing some scuba-diving, I used the camera yesterday. Visibility was limited to 5meters and I couldnt take shots of objects further away then 1m with flash on (unfortunately I never tried without flash). The macro-shots came of great as did the video, but its hard to take nice photos when you got nothing to stabilise yourself to.

I will post some pictures and videos soon, but meanwhile I wonder if anyone have experiense with this kind of photography?

Welcome to underwater photography. You've found out the sad truth about it - shoot macro, shoot within 3 feet with a flash, shoot "seascapes" only in shallow water with great vis, or invest in a strobe that will cost more than your camera. :D
