Hello all,
I have been reading the postings and trying to pluck up the courage to post.
My first wedding was last year for my niece. She was very pretty but didn't smile much!
I've attached a portrait shot of her that her husband loves...I've very much welcome your opinions. I've also attached a couple of others. I do hope they come out the correct size:confused:

Any chance we can see more?

I have attached a couple of more shots. I designed the album on a story book style theme and have attached one of the pages.
For this wedding I did not have a flash (only onboard for my 10d). The page of little Jamie (their son) was a rescue job in photoshop. I completely messed up the exposure which read from the window behind giving dark subjects :( but tinkering in PS gave these high key effect images which the couple liked (phew). What do you think?
I've used the proceeds from the wedding to buy a 580ex speedlite:-)

I like it a lot. I am a fan of high key images.. and even more.. high key images in black and white (would work well on your shots I think)
How long have you done photography.. obviously you have some experience.
So do I understand it right that you did those with the on camera flash? Or did you use no flash? Did you shoot automatic or manual mode? If manual, what settings?
I still cant get over that first one.. its so beautiful! The light coming from the right was that from a window?

I love the bridal portrait- the little fellow was a good save.
Your right, pretty girl but needs to smile

Thank you very much for the comments. I used window light for the b/white portrait and added a vignette in PS with some selective dodge and burn. She was about to cry as the bridesmaids dress had a burst zip and other disasters were going on around her!
I will post some others later from this and a couple of weddings done later in the year for friends.
I was a nervous wreck doing the wedding and everyone said "don't do it"...but I loved it! The satisfaction when they got their finished album was tremendous. I would like to develop my skills and this forum has been a great find for me.
