For some people a camera is a status object, to others a workhorse. But when an object is used there will be signs of wear.
So show some pics of your camera wear...
You could do better than those...

So you bought it looking like that? i hope you got a good price! I have to admit I would have walked away, probably foolishly as I am sure it works fine. I know they are designed to take a beating, BUT letting that happen is just plain careless.

Thats what I like about my 2nd hand 300D. It's about three years old, but it looks brand new
Not one mark on it - although I haven't exactly been careful with it, it must be said.
One day I will get a mag body SLR and just abuse the pooor thing, and get some proper scars like my old mans Pentax, which I don't think had a straight panel anywhere on it, other than the lense plate/lock thingy. Every other panel was scratched/bent/dented/scraped. He used to let it roll around the boot of the car with the lens cap on, but without a bag and just used it as and when
it goe dowsed in petrol once. Ruined the film but worked OK otherwise after being left to evaporate a bit. Allegedly.

it's not the external wear of that OP camera that I would worry about. It's the affected internal components during the wear process took place which is more important! A drop or a hit that caused such damage to the outside will be detrimental to the parts inside! Ouch!

Actually, that eos1 body doesn't look that bad. Just minor body rubbing against other bodies or lenses I'd say. Nothing major.

The internal componenst are affected... The AF isn't working, the rest is fine. I knew that when I bought the camera, I wanted a film body for macro and didn't need the AF. However, it is still nice to use the EOS 1 series... Would like to have a digital one!!
Does someone have more pic's of well used body's??

Iv got some nice scratchs and wear marks on my camera, the catch is its the only camera I have, so taking photos of it is a little tricky.
Theres a nice gouge about half a mm thick in the plastic on the base where the Tripod mounts to it though.

The only scratches I have are where the tripod mounts, and they are very minor scratches. I have went through a few lens filters though.
