Mantis :) Maybe 1/2" in length? Maybe even less? First time I have ever seen one this small.

Flash set to ETTL either -1/3rd or plus 1 1/3rd depending on magnification.

Yes... can I help you? LOL Should have shot this @ f/16.... oh well... I was able to capture a few shots and the little guy/gal jumped out of the scene fast! I couldn't find it again.

hehehe. I had one of these nearly 2 weeks ago at the local park where we run/walk the dogs. My one would have been only around 10mm or so in length at a guess. Sadly, I only got the one chance, before it jumped off the table into the grass and disappeared, and that shot was blurred. I was pretty disappointed with myself, but I had the shakes, no support and it was windy...oh well...I'll try and find it and post it, it's really crud though :(

Anyways, very nice images as usual Hatch :)

WOW, some really nice shots. I wish we had mantis' in 'Sunny' England. :)
