ZoomBrowser Version

Hi,

After looking through some of the threads here, and after looking for software updates at Canon's site, I'm left wondering something.
How is it that the version of ZoomBrowser that can with the camera I bought in May is newer than the updates on Canon's site?
I have version 4.1, and the latest update offered is version 4.0.2.

Just wondering why they are not making version 4.1 publicly available.

Any ideas?

If I were to make an educated guess at the answer, I'd say that's because there is no update for 4.1 yet. I could be off base on this but isn't it that you can only get updates as downloads and not the actual product? In other words, don't you need to have a version of Zoombrowser already installed on your machine to be able to apply the downloaded updates?

I agree, but I find it surprising that they have not yet offered an update to upgrade previous versions to version 4.1.

I´ve been thinking the same way and was/am a bit confused. I bought my G5 2 months ago and i have Zoombrowser Version 4.1.1.47
