10D and football

Got to shoot my first sports with the 10Dha a blast even though there was a torrential downpur. Gear held up well. Tell me what you think

Those are some great shots! Can you tell me what lenses and settings you used? It looks like it was a fairly low light setting, but you were able to come up with really sharp shots and no noise. I just bought a 10d and am interested to know how you got such great results.

Thanks. I used a 300 f2.8 (old one) and a 70-200 2.8. I set the camera for ISO 1600 and shot anywhere from a 340th to a 640th of a second since the light was spotty at the fiels. One was in a driving rainstorm and the other was foggy. I am really impressed by the low noise at 1600 of the 10D
