Hi all,
Bought the Photoshop CS2 (Mac) recently. However, when i opened the bridge in Photoshop CS2, at the bottom left corner "Metadata", it only shows the File Properties (such as Filename, Document Kind, Date created, etc.) information.
When I scroll down to Camera Data(Exif) where it should shows information on exposure, ISO, Focal Length, etc... all these information are missing, strip off. Actually, there are no other information shown in the Metadata except for File Propertities.
I have tried the Preferences but still unable to see any Camera Data (Exif) information. Any suggestions?
Oh, btw I'm using Canon 350D.
Any kind soul able to assist in this problem?
thanks

Did you click the little arrow that shifts from point to the left to pointing down? I think that roll down screen is pre-set to up and you have to roll it down.

Is there EXIF in any other programs? For instance in CS2 go to File-> File Info and check there or any other program.

What program was used to edit the EXIF before acquiring CS2? Does it adhere to EXIF standards? Did you "Save for the web..." in Photoshop.

Previously I've installed the Canon Browser Software program, which came with my 350D, but I have deleted it already and before I install the Photoshop CS2.
I download my photos directly from my camera Canon 350D and I understand the CS2 support this model of camera.
Don't understand your question regarding "Save for the web..." in Photoshop. Do you mean I save the photo for web procedure? If so, no. I have not started using the CS2 for my photo editing yet. I'm very upset why i can't view my exif data.
pleaseeeeeeeeee help. thanks

There isn't any real reason to uninstall the Canon software to install PS. Was there exif viewable in Canon program? In Windows Explorer, right click, choose Properties, click the Summary tab, and click Advanced. Is the info there? My bet is there isn't any EXIF. If it is there, I recommend you seek guidance from Adobe support, since something is wrong with your software. They'll be glad to help you if you have a licensed copy.

Hi jfrancho, I have seek your advise and consulted Adobe in Asia Pacific region (where I reside). To my utter horror they said my camera (Canon 350D) is not able to produce EXIF files and compatible to CS2! My goodness, I almost fell off my chair when I heard that!
Adobe techinical helpdesk is totally unhelpful and they are trying to put the blame on my other associated equipment, e.g. iMac and my Canon 350D. I am so upset.
May I ask if you can see the EXIF properties if you go to File>File Info>Advanced under Bridge.
I'm just hoping someone out there able to help on this. This is a total nightmare!

I have an XT, which is a 350D, and I can see EXIF. In fact if you click on the link in my signature you can see my photos and click on them to view the EXIF. They are giving you a load of bulls**t.
