I have to be in Mississauga on business in about a week. I have a Sunday free and thought I'd make a photography field trip. I have no familiarity with the area and I'm looking for recommendations for places to see. I will have a car, so a modest drive is no problem.
I was thinking that I should check out the falls since I've never been there, but I'm open to other ideas.
If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Links to web sites are welcome if you have them.

By "falls" I assume you mean Niagara Falls. That's an excellent place for taking lots of good pictures. If you also want a rainbox in your falls pictures make sure you get there in the afternoon between 2:00 and 4:00 depending on how high or low you want the rainbow to be.
You might also want to check out the Butterfly Conservatory which is a couple of minutes from Niagara Falls along the picturesque road that follows the rivers. Actually, there are a lot of other photo ops along this road.
I'm assuming you know that the drive from Mississuaga to Niagara Falls is around 1 1/2 to 2 hours, right?

The Toronto Zoo is also great for taking pictures with a number of indoor exhibits to get up close and personal. It will easily take a full day to cover properly. www.torontozoo.com

Obviously you can't cover all the places suggested in this thread in one day but if you're "stuck" in Toronto, the CN Towers might be another place you can go to. Great view of Toronto from the revolving restaurant at the top.
