OK, so I was reading an interview with a famous wedding photographer. And the interviewer asked what was the hardest about taking wedding pictures. And he says "When the groom shows up drunk..."
So if you have any funny wedding photography stories post and laugh...
The very first wedding I did as an assistant. And as I was switching memory cards my memory card bent one of the spokes in my Canon 10d slot. So I couldn't take anymore pictures. Well one of the bride's relatives came over and said he fixed cameras for a living and it was a common problem he could fix on the spot. So he takes my camera and I left to go tell my boss what happened. When I got back he had a huge pocket knife and had utterly destroyed the inside of my poor camera. Happy ending though, Canon fixed it for free after hearing my sob story. So now I will never buy anything but Canon.
(It was a Mormon wedding, so he was sober)
