I need help! Can someone with a canon D60 able to take a photograph with the lens cap on and deliver to the following address?

thamjl@starhub.net.sg

I just received my camera from Canon Singapore and found strange dots on every of my photos (refer to attachment with the lens cap on-note those dim white dots) taken.

Many thanks!

If you had the ISO cranked up high, then I would say, Yes, that is about what you get. If ISO was set low, then I would want to know what settings you used, like shutter speed. This seems to indicate 2 seconds at ISO 200.

Hard to tell.

Hi Bob,

The ISO setting is 200 (the dots will also appear at ISO 100), and I have managed to send in the camera once again to Canon for inspection.

Thanks!

I have a D60 and the dots only appear at ISO400 and above. How long were your exposures?

The followings are the setting on the D60 without any lens mounted (Similar Test tried on D30 and 10D and no such dots appear). I understand the setting at ISO400 would reveal some very fine dots but for this one is definitely not normal (Is more like dust embedded inside the CMOS- Also have checked the CMOS and see no dust on its surface). I have also gone back to some night shooting with this D60 and there never have such strange dots.
