I'd like to hear from the experienced motorsports folk on the business side of photography.

For instance, what do you charge for prints, digital images, shooting events upon request?

The reason I ask is because me and my photography partner have been asked to shoot an event for an organization. The event is 5 hours away and will likely be a 2 day event (sleep over). We don't have details as of yet (I'm asking theoretically here so we can be prepared when we talk with them). What do you charge for shooting a motorsports event or what scale do you use to justify the price? What is the common agreement on distribution of images and copywrites between photog's and event organizers.

Could really use some advice on these issues, the thought of requesting to much or too little is frightening.
