Im going a project at school and i need to find 2 famous post 1970's photographers and 2 pre 1970's...

I was wondering you guys and gals could help me!

I need help ASAP!

Do a web search for Life Magazine photographers, for example. There were a lot of great pre-1970's photographers working for them.

I do feel that you need to do your own homework, but this might be a conceptual idea that will get you going.

My candidates for ones who became famous PRIOR to 1970 would be
Ansel Adams
Edward Weston
Walker Evans
Dorothea Lange

My suggestion for Post 1970 Photographers would include Fred Picker.

you may also want to do a search of for Rolling stones mag. photog. better yet, pick up the newest (special edition) issue and they cover the major (improtant) photog's since the mag's birth--interesting.
