Number of posts

I apologize if this is posted somewhere. How do the number of posts get determined? Do they only increment on new topics? It does not seem to change on replies to posts.

Every post counts unless of course if the post gets deleted then your post count goes down :-)
Dump your cache. That may be the hang up.

How many posts does it take to get the cool names (like member, etc...). Who makes that decision?

It's automatic. You're a member now. When you get 1,000 posts, you will be a Senior Member. When you hit 2,000, you're a goldmember. 5,000 is Cream of the Crop. 15,000 and you're a chatty windbag, and 20,000, and you're CDS. :lol:

"Chatty Windbag" was what CDS changed my title too, it's not automatic! It's gone for now, until I think up something else i'd rather have :)

It changed a couple of times after that, it's back to normal until I come up with something i'd rather have.
